Bryan Danielson Wants To ‘Kick The F*cking Heads In’ Of Younger Talent

Bryan Danielson makes entrance in AEW

Bryan Danielson’s shocking debut at AEW All Out saw him return to pro wrestling with a new look and a new attitude.

The AEW All Out main event saw Kenny Omega beat Christian Cage to retain the AEW World Title. After the match, Kenny was joined by his friends in The Elite and beat up Christian Cage. That led to Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt trying to help, but they were unsuccessful. Adam Cole was next and then he turned on the faces to join with The Elite.

That’s when some new music hit as Bryan Danielson made his first AEW appearance to a thunderous ovation. Bryan soaked up the cheers along with the “YES” chants and made his way down to the ring.

Bryan worked over former AEW Tag Team Champion Nick Jackson with kicks against the turnbuckle, then Nick stumbled out of the corner and Bryan hit him with the running knee that he has used to win many championships in his wrestling career. The fans at the Now Arena in Chicago loved it.

Following All Out, Bryan was one of many AEW talents that took part in a post-show media scrum. Bryan spoke about how part of the reason he came to AEW and why his approach to working with young talent might be different than what CM Punk said.

“When you have a wife and kids, your life becomes a little bit tame. I love it, but it’s a little bit tame. I need one part of my life that’s a little bit wild, right? You see these guys doing these crazy things and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, can I do that?’ Yes, I can. I don’t care. Like, I’m going to go out there and I’m going to show everybody here what ‘elite’ really looks like this, this is what ‘elite’ looks like. I’m not, you know, Punk can come in and said like,’ Oh, I want to help the young guys and all that kind of stuff.’ Nah man, I’m going to kick their f*cking head in.”

Danielson has also made it clear that he came to AEW to “goddamn wrestle” too. This new version of Bryan Danielson is likely to make his AEW Dynamite debut tomorrow night in Cincinnati.
