Brutal Ladder Match Crowns New NXT Champion In Chaotic Main Event
The main event of WWE NXT featured the most anticipated match of the night as it saw seven men compete in an intense ladder match to be crowned the new NXT Champion.
Ricky Saints was the first person to qualify for the match, and he was later joined by Sean Legacy, Shiloh Hill, Dion Lennox, Joe Hendry, Jackson Drake, and Keanu Carver.
The night had already seen two championships be defended, so the fans were looking forward to a new champion being crowned on tonight’s show.
The match was off to a blistering start, and the pace of the match never slowed down between any of the competitors, with so many superstars capable of high-flying moves.
Joe Hendry becomes the NXT Champion
Jackson Drake put in a solid shift and is sure to have impressed many higher-ups with his performance in the match, while Keanu Carver was the destructive force in the match.
He would eventually be taken out by Shiloh Hill after he attacked him with a ladder multiple times before he was buried under a pile of ladders by the rest of the competitors.
Dion Lennox came close to winning the belt but he was taken out by Hendry, who would himself be attacked by a recovered Carver. He went on a rampage and cleared the field before heading for the belt.

Ricky Saints and Keanu Carver fought for the belt on separae ladders, but Saints pushed him through another ladder, breaking it in half. He celebrated it before taking the title off, allowing Joe Hendry to climb up with him.
The two ment tussled for the belt as they both grabbed hold of it before Hendry managed to push Saints off the ladder onto another one set below. He would then grab hold of the title and become the new NXT Champion.
