Bronson Reed Set For Surgery Following WWE RAW Injury
Unfortunate news for Bronson Reed, as it’s confirmed that he will have to undergo surgery for his torn bicep.
The Vision member, Bronson Reed, was part of a three-way qualifying bout against the original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) and Jey Uso for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match on Feb 28th.
Towards the end of the match, Reed tried to break a pinfall and suffered a distal bicep tear. Medical staff were seen checking on Reed at ringside as Jey Uso speared Americano and pinned him following an Uso Splash.
According to a report by PW Insider, Reed was taken to Birmingham, Alabama, after Raw to be examined further, and it was reported that he would have to undergo surgery.
“Reed will undergo surgery shortly”, the report read.
Bronson Reed Was Set To Qualify For The Elimination Chamber Match
The Auszilla was the star who was planned to get the victory in the bout, but due to the unfortunate injury, WWE creative had to make last-minute changes and make Jey Uso the winner instead.
This comes as a major blow to the Australian star, who has been building up momentum for months with The Vision.
It’s also a major blow for WWE leading up to WrestleMania 42, as Reed was planned to be in storylines that would lead to important Mania matches.
Earlier this month, The Vision’s Bron Breakker also suffered an injury, and the two stars are now going to be out of action indefinitely. WWE will have to scramble to change things around creatively with WrestleMania fast approaching and two of their main event stars being forced into an injury hiatus.
