Brodie Lee’s Wife Reflects On 10th Anniversary Of His WWE Debut

Amanda Huber, the widow of Brodie Lee, has shared her thoughts on one of her late husband’s biggest moments.

Brodie Lee’s death in late 2020 shocked the wrestling world. By all accounts, he was a genuinely good and decent person, which is hard to come by in the wrestling business.

Following his passing, AEW went the extra mile to take care of Lee’s family with a Celebration of Life and his son basically being signed by AEW so that he’s taken care of for years to come.

And while Lee has passed on, memories of his career have not. That’s why his widow Amanda Huber took to Twitter to revisit her husband’s debut in NXT a decade ago.

Brodie Lee, as Luke Harper, made an instant impact by demolishing Jason Jordan and becoming the first person to join The Wyatt Family. His WWE career would continue from there with runs as both a singles wrestler and as tag team champion alongside Erick Rowan.

However, that tenure was mired by start/stop booking and inconsistent presentation. Brodie Lee in particular was used sparingly due to injuries and eventually left WWE in 2020.

Soon after that exit, he debuted in AEW as ‘The Exalted One’ and leader of The Dark Order. His final match was a Dog Collar match against Cody Rhodes for the TNT Title.
