Brock Lesnar shocked the world at WrestleMania 42 by seemingly announcing retirement; however, this WWE legend says that could change.

Brock Lesnar went up against Oba Femi in a match that was one of WrestleMania 42’s most anticipated on the entire card.

Femi answered Lesnar’s open challenge a few weeks ago. He showcased his dominance by asserting himself on The Beast Incarnate and even got the better of him on a couple of occasions during the build to the match.

The match itself was worthy of its hype and was quite short, clocking under five minutes. Femi dominated Lesnar with his powerful moves, and Lesnar’s offense didn’t affect him.

The Ruler hit Lesnar with a Chokeslam, followed by a Fall From Grace, and pinned him to secure the win.

However, what happened moments after Oba Femi’s win shocked the WWE Universe. Lesnar took off his gloves and boots and left them in the ring, signaling retirement. It was rumoured that Brock would retire either at SummerSlam in his home state of Minnesota to Gunther or probably sometime next year, but what happened at WrestleMania 42 was unexpected.

An emotional Lesnar shared a heartfelt moment with his long-term manager, Paul Heyman, and left the arena to chants of “Thank you, Lesnar”.

Even though Brock Lesnar looks like he has retired for certain, WWE legend CJ Perry thinks he could return at WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia.

CJ Perry Predicts A Return For Brock Lesnar

CJ Perry, who played Lana in WWE, recently said on TMZ’s Inside the Ring that the Saudi’s could persuade Lesnar to return for one match at WrestleMania 43, which is scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia.

Lana said that the Saudi Prince or King could pay as high as $20-50 million to Lesnar for a one-night-only event. Since stars like Shawn Michaels and Kane have done this in the past in Saudi Arabia, anything was possible, although it’s still Perry’s prediction, and nothing is confirmed.

I predict that Brock Lesnar will be fighting in Saudi Arabia next year. I think a Saudi prince or king is going to demand to have Brock, and they’ll pay him 20-50 million, and he will show up. That’s my prediction, but we’ll see.

Lesnar’s sudden retirement was also the reason that WWE seemingly changed their original plans for his feud with Oba Femi. Per Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, the feud was planned to last longer than it did, but Lesnar’s early retirement plan cut it short.
