Braun Strowman’s First WWE Match Since Return Announced

Braun Strowman takes out Maximum Male Models

Braun Strowman shocked the world when he made his return to WWE and now his first match in the company in over 16 months has been announced.

Strowman returned to the company on the 5th of September edition of Raw as he took apart Alpha Academy, Los Lotharios, The New Day, and The Street Profits who were competing in a Fatal Four-Way match to find number one contenders for the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Following his shock return, The Monster Among Men announced that he was going to be part of SmackDown and has made his presence felt on the blue brand ever since.

On Friday night in Anaheim, California Braun Strowman attacked again as he set his sights on the Maximum Male Models duo of Mace and Mansoor, barrelling through them both. Strowman was soon confronted by Chad Gable and attacked by Gable’s partner Otis. However, Strowman’s refusal to stay down soon sent Alpha Academy scrambling from the ring.

Now it has been announced that Braun Strowman will compete in his first WWE match since May 2021 as he will face Otis in a one-on-one bout on the 23rd of September edition of SmackDown live in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The last time Braun Strowman competed in a WWE ring was at WrestleMania Backlash in 2021 when he failed in his quest to win the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match against then-champion Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.
