Braun Strowman Makes Surprising Appearance Despite Neck Injury

Braun Strowman screaming in the ring

Braun Strowman has made an appearance for WWE despite being out of action after serious neck surgery.

The Monster Among Men was last seen in the ring on the May 1st edition of Raw, which saw him and Ricochet defeat Alpha Academy. Shortly afterwards, Braun Strowman went on hiatus to undergo neck fusion surgery.

Strowman revealed the news in a social media post in June, explaining that he had level one fusion on his C4/C5 vertebrae.

“Road to recovery starts now!!!! Level one #fusion on my c4/c5 #vertebrae was in the great hands of #DrCordover at @andrews_sports_medicine was a great experience considering. Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us. This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible. This will take a little bit of time to heal from. But I assure you ( in the words of the #Terminator ) I’ll be back!!!! Thank you all in advance for the well wishes.”

Ricochet gave an update on Strowman in August, saying the former Universal Champion was “doing great.” Later that month, the star appeared on SmackDown as WWE paid tribute to Bray Wyatt following his tragic passing.
