Ricochet gave a medical update on tag team partner Braun Strowman after Strowman’s recent surgery.

The Monster of All Monsters hasn’t competed inside a WWE ring since the May 1st episode of Raw, when he and Ricochet successfully defeated Alpha Academy.

In early June, Strowman took to social media to reveal that he’d undergone neck fusion surgery, writing:

“Road to recovery starts now!!!! Level one #fusion on my c4/c5 #vertebrae was in the great hands of #DrCordover at @andrews_sports_medicine was a great experience considering. Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us. This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible. This will take a little bit of time to heal from. But I assure you ( in the words of the #Terminator ) I’ll be back!!!! Thank you all in advance for the well wishes.”

While he was able to begin weight training weeks after his surgery, the star is far from an in-ring return as he’s likely to be out of action well into 2024. Taking to Twitter in late June, Strowman expressed frustration at being out of action once again, especially after coming back to the company following his 2021 release.

Ricochet Says Braun Strowman Is “Doing Great”

Speaking in a new interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co, Strowman’s tag team partner Ricochet updated fans on Strowman’s progress, saying he misses his partner and can’t wait for him to return to the ring.

“He’s doing great. He had a little surgery, but he’s doing great. He’s recuperating. He’s doing fine. I mean, I know he’s ready to get back. I can only imagine that he’s ready to get back. I miss my tag partner. I think we had something pretty good going. I think the fans were getting into it pretty good and obviously, I want to be tag team champion. Who better to have your side than like the biggest man on the roster? I can’t wait for him to get back. He’s doing great.” (h/t WrestlingNews.co)

At SummerSlam in Detroit, MI, Ricochet found himself in a major singles match when he fell victim to Logan Paul in the show’s opening bout.
