Braun Strowman was one of the wrestlers released by WWE on May 2, 2025.

Since his release, Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, has yet to step inside the squared circle. However, the 42-year-old seems to be in no hurry.

The former Universal Champion recently suffered a health setback after he was hospitalized due to an infection in his right knee. Following a brief stay there, he was discharged in late January.

The Monster Among Men has also been part of a TV show, Everything On The Menu with Braun Strowman, produced by WWE. The episodes show Scherr traveling to different locations in the United States and visiting different restaurants to try their cuisine.

Season 1 of the show aired on USA Network, with Season 2 on the way.

Braun Strowman Launches Production Company

Braun Strowman has taken another huge leap in his personal life, this time launching a production company in partnership with Magilla Entertainment and Nick Antonicelli.

The news by The Hollywood Reporter reveals the production company’s name as Meat Castle Media. As part of the company, Scherr will be part of a podcast as well as a new “unscripted series.”

A series is currently being developed called “Hands On,” where Scherr utilizes his skills as a past tradesman and tries a different craft in each episode.

During an interview with Battleground Podcast last year, Strowman revealed that he missed wrestling, but claimed that he was enjoying his break.

I miss being in the ring and I miss being in the locker room. A lot of the other stuff that comes along with it, I’m enjoying the break from because it’s very stressful. I mean, I’m still traveling a lot, but I’m getting to travel instead of like, all right, it gets to where it’s a job.

Following his WWE release, it was claimed that his high salary and injuries were contributing factors to his fate.
