Braun Strowman Celebrates Significant WWE Anniversary
Braun Strowman is in a celebratory mood while also thanking a fellow WWE superstar who has been a big part of his journey.
The current WWE roster has a lot of talent who started in pro wrestling before they started working for WWE. However, there are also a lot of wrestlers on the WWE main roster who are products of the Performance Center in Orlando, which launched over a decade ago.
An example of a WWE PC success story is Braun Strowman. The big man was a powerlifter who the company discovered and thought that his 6’8″ and 350+ pound frame would look good in WWE. Since then, Strowman has overcome injuries and he’s been released, but he has come back and built a career that will likely put him in the WWE Hall of Fame someday down the road.
After starting with the Wyatt Family on the main roster in 2015, Braun Strowman broke out on his own in the mid-2010s, became a main event performer, and eventually the WWE Universal Champion.
In a post on Instagram, Strowman celebrated ten years since his first WWE match, which was against fellow superstar Chad Gable. Strowman thanked Gable and the fans in his message.
Ten years ago the internet is telling me I had my first ever #Wrestling match ever front of a crowd ( a small Jacksonville armory crowd) and what would start one hell of a decade in @wwe it’s wild to think how much had happened since then. So many ups and downs and everywhere in between.
One thing has always stayed the same since day one for me and that’s the friendship I have been able to have and grow with @wwegable we are OG #WWE #PC we have treaded through the sands of time in this crazy business and Chaz has always been one of if not the best humans in the locker room and on earth.
It’s been such a pleasure to entertain my fans for such a long time and we still have so much more to do!!! Here’s to 10 more freaking years!!!!! And CHEERS to @wwegable for all the crazy bumps you’ve taken for me and thx for not killing me hitting the most insane Chaos Theory in the history of the business!!

Braun Strowman Suffers Surprising Defeat On WWE SmackDown
It was on the December 13th edition of WWE SmackDown when Braun Strowman was moved back to the blue brand. Strowman beat a surprised Carmelo Hayes in a short match.
When they had a rematch on the December 20th edition of SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes beat Strowman by countout because they were fighting outside the ring. Strowman tossed Hayes back in the ring before the referee’s ten count, but before Strowman could get in the ring, he was counted out.
The rivalry between Hayes and Strowman will likely continue since Hayes attacked Strowman with a steel chair in a backstage attack. That should lead to more matches between the Monster of All Monsters and the cocky Hayes.
