Booker T Doesn’t Believe Young Bucks Contacted WWE About Switch

Booker T

WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T has discussed how he doesn’t feel rumors of The Young Bucks getting in touch with WWE about joining the company are true.

The fallout from AEW All Out and the subsequent media scrum has been well documented. It led to multiple title belts being vacated and competitors being suspended by the company, including The Young Bucks who were stripped of their newly-won AEW Trios Championships. This seemingly stems from a melee which also involved the likes of CM Punk, Kenny Omega and Ace Steel.

This has all led to speculation that whilst there is likely no way back for CM Punk with the company, that Executive Vice Presidents The Young Bucks may be looking for a switch over to WWE, and may even have gone so far as to reach out to the company.

However, in a conversation on his The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T has discussed that he feels most of what is coming out now is just stories, and he doesn’t see why Matt and Nick Jackson would need to look for the move.

They should be okay as far as money goes. I don’t think that they’re like some indie guys that are going to be looking for a job immediately because they had a fight or misunderstanding with somebody at work.

It just sounds so childish. It could be true, but a lot of people are just making up stories right now, and I just do not see The Young Bucks getting in touch with WWE upper management after they’ve had a kerfuffle with somebody at work.

As well as the title situation and their suspension, it has also been confirmed that the popular ‘Being The Elite’ is on an indefinite hiatus.
