WWE Legend Booker T Shares Honest Opinion On Roman Reigns

Booker T has finally given his honest thoughts on Roman Reigns.

Ever since Roman Reigns made his WWE debut, he has been pushed to the main event scene. The company strapped a rocket to him immediately. However, he was still a little green when it came to cutting promos.

The fans also rejected WWE pushing Roman Reigns as the next big star in the company. However, all that changed in 2020 when he turned heel and aligned himself with Paul Heyman. This pairing was one of the best things that could’ve happened to The OTC. Roman Reigns went on an incredible title run. He held the Universal Title for over 1300 days. During his legendary title reign, Reigns took his place as one of the greatest WWE stars of all time. He has accomplished everything there is to do in his career. Reigns will also go down as one of the greatest WrestleMania main eventers of all time. Even Booker T has nothing but good things to say about the OTC.

During a recent edition of Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer called Roman Reigns one of the best wrestlers of the last two decades in terms of storytelling. He also praised Roman’s ability to make his opponents look good in the ring.

“Roman Reigns is one of the best wrestlers that we’ve seen in the past couple of decades. I mean he really is as far as storytelling goes. And I say that because the bar has always been not how good you look, but how good you can make somebody else look. And when I watch Roman, no matter who’s he’s in the ring with, that person looks better than they’ve ever looked with anybody else.”

Trick Williams named Roman Reigns as his dream opponent

During an interview with Travis Singleton of Sneaker Reporter, Trick Williams named Gunther, Booker T, and Roman Reigns as his dream opponents.

“There’s three of them that I want. First, I’m going to go with GUNTHER, because I feel like he’s the best heel in the game today. GUNTHER’s special, man. I love the way he works, I love the way he moves. The General, I just think he’s dope.

Booker T, of course. The honor it would be to be his, maybe, possibly, his last match. I just think that would be amazing. I would love to work against Booker T, it’d be great.

Thirdly, the Tribal Chief, the real one, Roman Reigns. I believe he’s the most overall complete superstar in the game today. That’s where I want to be, I want to be the best in the game, so I need to go against the best. That’s the match that I want.”

It remains to be seen if this dream match will ever take place in WWE.
