Big Trouble Waiting For Raquel Rodriguez In WWE
Raquel Rodriguez is on a roll, as she got the best of Stephanie Vaquer for the second consecutive week.
After her initial attack on Vaquer during the WWE Raw-Netflix crossover episode, Rodriguez again managed to get her hands on the Women’s World Champion on January 12.
During a non-wrestling segment with Michael Cole, ‘Big Mami Cool’ made her intention clear about facing La Primera for the title again.
Both superstars had squared off a few weeks ago, but the match was interrupted by WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, much to the chagrin of Rodriguez.
After Raquel Rodriguez’s promo, Stephanie Vaquer walked out, her walking medical shoes still intact on her injured leg.
Seeing her come out, Rodriguez decided to walk away, only to return and attack the Chilean wrestler from behind. Like last week, she attacked her leg, this time using the title as a weapon.
According to an update from Dave Meltzer, while Vaquer’s injury is legitimate, she is recovering fast, meaning her bout with Rodriguez could take place soon.
Various reports also suggest that WWE is interested in keeping the spotlight on Stephanie Vaquer going into WrestleMania 42. So, if a match is finalized between her and Rodriguez for the title before The Show of Shows, Vaquer is likely to retain it, putting a stop to the 35-year-old’s momentum.
NOT AGAIN 😩
