Becky Lynch On WWE Star: “She Was Very Disloyal To Me”

Becky Lynch will be a part of this year’s WrestleMania 42. She will challenge AJ Lee for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

Ahead of her upcoming clash with the Geek Goddess, Becky Lynch sat down for a virtual interview on the Cheap Heat podcast. During the interview, the host asked her to “power-rank” Irish wrestlers. Lynch responded by saying that she would rank Lyra Valkyria, who is also Irish, last because she has been very disloyal to her.

Becky Lynch Claims She Helped Lyra Valkyria Become A Double Champion In WWE

Becky Lynch recalled teaming up with Valkyria to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 41, which they lost on the very next episode of RAW. She said that she helped Lyra become a double champion in WWE.

She added that Lyra is the bad guy and claimed that Valkyria betrayed her by being friends with Bayley.

Well, the problem is that somebody’s going to have to go last. And you know, because she’s a loser. Loser Lyra. She’s going last because she thinks she’s a better Intercontinental Champion than me. She’s not. And she was very disloyal to me because I came back, I helped her become Lyra two belts, helped her make history at WrestleMania last year, and the very next night she betrayed me by losing like a loser.

And so I had to teach her a lesson. And then she comes out full of p*ss and vinegar, acting like I’m the bad guy when all along she was the bad guy because she was buddying up to basic Bailey, who has been a thorn in my side for many, many years.
