Becky Lynch’s Potential WWE Return Date Revealed

Becky Lynch

A new report has shed some light on when WWE may be looking to get Becky Lynch back to active competition.

‘The Man’ last competed inside a WWE ring at SummerSlam 2022, when she challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship. As well as not winning the match, Lynch was injured during the contest and has been forced to take some time away.

To help write her off television for her recovery, Becky Lynch was then attacked by Damage CTRL on the 1st August 2022 edition of Monday Night Raw, after explaining that she had suffered the injury. Since then, she has not been seen on any WWE programming.

A new report from Fightful Select has indicated that the time may almost be right for the former Women’s Champion to make her return.

According to the report, Becky Lynch has been “discussed and planned” to fill the final spot in the five-on-five match at Survivor Series: WarGames, where she would team with Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka and Michin. This would be particularly logical considering the opposition team consists of Bailey, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley.

The report continues by saying that many of the “new regime” are excited to work with Lynch, after there was limited opportunity between Triple H heading to the helm of the company and her injury.

Becky Lynch has not been completely out of the public eye during this time, having recently appeared as Cyndi Lauper in the first episode of the new series of Young Rock. Her efforts on the programme did not go unnoticed by the show’s star, with The Rock publicly praising her high levels of commitment.
