Becky Lynch is a star with many highlights to her name already in her WWE career, but now she’s singled out one of her more recent career highlights.
Becky Lynch is someone who has almost done it all during her WWE career having captured the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships, won a Royal Rumble match, and made history when she came out victorious in the first-ever women’s main event of WrestleMania in 2019.
Speaking on a panel at NYC Advertising Week, The Man has named one of her more recent career highlights as she reflected on her more recent WrestleMania endeavours with Bianca Belair:
“I think anytime that I’ve gone out there as maybe the underdog or my match has gone out there as an underdog and we’ve stolen the show, that feels like a career highlight. One of my most recent ones was at WrestleMania against Bianca Belair.”
“I didn’t get the win, but we stole the show, we stole that weekend and that felt like an accomplishment. There’s been so many and I’ve been so lucky and privileged that I’ve been in a time with women and people that are so progressive in terms of changing the way women are viewed in the business, which has been so predominantly male for so many years.”
Becky Lynch also discussed how excited she was for the future of women’s wrestling in WWE as she sang the praises of the female stars of NXT.
