Bayley is doing well in WWE, but says she would also like to perform elsewhere.

Bayley is over with the fans in WWE, and critics always praise her work.

Her recent run in WWE hasn’t seen her in a major storyline or feud, but that could change soon after she won a Gauntlet match on Raw to determine the #1 contender for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

She pinned the last woman in the match, Asuka, for the win and will now go on to face the Champion, AJ Lee, for the title next week on Raw.

The Role Model recently sat down for a talk with Busted Open.

Bayley Says That Wrestling In TNA Was One Of Her Dreams

The Role Model started her wrestling career at 18. She worked in the independent circuit for a few years before WWE signed her in 2012.

Host Dave LaGreca, at one point during Bayley’s Busted Open interview, notes how WWE mentions now other promotions like New Japan Pro Wrestling openly, something they would never have done 10 years ago. Bayley agrees with this, saying that it’s important to mention the promotions a wrestler has worked at in the past.

The WWE star says she wouldn’t mind wrestling in TNA or AAA (a promotion associated with WWE) if she ever got the chance.

She says that it was one of her childhood dreams to wrestle in TNA, as she loved the TNA Knockouts division.

You don’t want to just be one thing. Like, there are so many [promotions]. When you have guys like AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, or Finn Balor, they’ve all been to these places. So I feel like it’s important to mention the past and mention these things. I would love to dip my toes in TNA and AAA.

If we have the doors to do that, I would love to go. TNA was one of my dreams as a kid, you know? I love the Knockouts division. They were like the hottest division for so long. Gail Kim’s one of my favorites. I did a tryout for TNA years ago, like 2010 or something. The knockouts division has always been a dream.
