Bayley Teases Another NXT Star Could Join Damage CTRL
If Damage CTRL has to be in a War Games match one day, their leader Bayley already has a plan for a fourth member to help them conquer that element of the women’s division.
Since coming back at SummerSlam, Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY – known as Damage CTRL – have been rolling over the WWE women’s division, attempting to outright conquer that realm of the WWE Universe, and everything has been going according to plan so far for the faction.
At Clash at the Castle, they took down a powerhouse babyface squad in Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka, and just last week on Raw, Damage CTRL got its first taste of gold as Kai and SKY took out Raquel Gonzalez and Aliyah to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
On the most recent episode of The Wrestling Classic, Bayley said she’s already got a plan for a fourth member for her Damage CTRL stable if they’re ever faced with a WarGames scenario, and that fourth member is NXT star, Indi Hartwell.
Bayley stated that Hartwell’s career was inspired by her, that Hartwell has been training ever since she laid eyes on Bayley’s NXT TakeOver Brooklyn match against Sasha Banks.
“Fourth partner, I guess I’m gonna have to go with Indi [Hartwell]. We spent a lot of time together and she knows how my big ol’ brain up here is working and where I’m at right now in my career. She’s a ride-or-die, you know. She’s there because of the match I had, so I know she’s gonna go into war with me.”
