Bayley Breaks Silence After Big Appearance Outside WWE
Bayley recently made a big appearance outside WWE.
On March 14, 2026, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide held its Rey de Reyes 2026 event. During the show, Bayley made her AAA debut.
The AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer issued an open challenge during the event. The Role Model shocked the crowd by making a surprise appearance as the mystery opponent and answering the challenge. She delivered a fantastic performance against the champion.
However, she ultimately lost the match due to outside interference from Lady Maravilla and La Hiedra. Because of the distraction they created, Flammer capitalized on the chaos. She sent the WWE star into an exposed turnbuckle before securing the pinfall with a running dropkick.
The 36-year-old star may not have walked out of the lucha libre show as the champion, but she earned widespread praise from veterans and fans for her impressive performance during the event.
Bayley Shares Pictures Of Her AAA Debut On Instagram
Following her AAA debut, Bayley logged onto her Instagram to share several photos from the show.
“Mexico means something to me. Thank you @luchalibreonline Te estoy vigilando, Las Tóxicas 👀 ~Bayley Martinez,” she wrote along with the photos.
For those who don’t know, the WWE veteran is of Mexican-American heritage. She was born and raised in San Jose, California, in a Mexican-American family.

The former WWE Women’s Champion is set to receive another championship opportunity on this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw. She will challenge AJ Lee for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The Geek Goddess won the title from Becky Lynch at WWE Elimination Chamber last month.
