Bayley Makes Surprise Appearance Outside WWE; Loses Title Match

Bayley is set to challenge AJ Lee for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the March 16, 2026, episode of WWE Raw.

The Role Model earned the No. 1 contender’s spot after winning a six-woman contender’s match on the March 9 episode of Raw. She defeated Ivy Nile, Asuka, Iyo Sky, Lyra Valkyria, and Raquel Rodriguez to secure the opportunity.

Ahead of her upcoming championship match in WWE, the 36-year-old female star recently competed in another title bout outside the company.

At AAA Rey de Reyes 2026, Bayley made a surprise appearance to face Flammer for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. It happened after Flammer issued an open challenge during the show. This marked her debut in the Mexican promotion.

Bayley Fails To Capture The AAA Reina de Reinas Championship From Flammer

The match proved to be a hard-fought contest, with Bayley showcasing her experience and resilience against the reigning champion. However, the bout eventually ended in controversy due to outside interference.

Members of Las Toxicas (Lady Maravilla and La Hiedra) interfered during the closing moments of the match, creating a major distraction for The WWE Horsewoman.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Flammer shoved Bayley into an exposed turnbuckle before delivering a Codebreaker, followed by a running dropkick to secure the pinfall victory and retain her championship.

By securing this win, Flammer has now held the championship for an impressive 945 consecutive days, which officially marks the longest Reina de Reinas Championship reign ever recorded.
