AJ Lee’s Surprising Reaction To Facing Bayley In WWE Title Match

AJ Lee is set to put her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Bayley.

On the March 9, 2026 episode of WWE Raw in Seattle, a six-woman gauntlet match took place to determine the next challenger for Lee’s title. Iyo Sky, Lyra Valkyria, Raquel Rodriguez, Ivy Nile, Bayley, and Asuka were the six participants in the match.

The final round took place between Bayley and Asuka. As the match was nearing its end, Kairi Sane attempted to interfere on behalf of Asuka. However, Lyra Valkyria returned to the ringside to neutralize Sane.

Bayley then capitalized on the opportunity and hit the Roseplant on Asuka to secure the victory. With the win, Bayley will now challenge The Geek Goddess for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the March 16, 2026, episode of Raw.

AJ Lee Sends Message To Bayley Ahead Of WWE Raw Title Match

Following Bayley’s victory, AJ Lee went online to share a surprising reaction. She posted a photo of herself from 2015, where she is seen sitting on the ropes wearing Bayley’s “I’m a Hugger” T-shirt.

Lee tweeted that she has been waiting to face Bayley one-on-one since 2015. Next week, she will finally get that chance. This shows that Lee is very eager to lock horns with Bayley.
