AJ Styles Urged To Join This Promotion After WWE Retirement

AJ Styles WWE Face

There is quite a debate about whether or not AJ Styles has retired from wrestling or just from WWE.

At Royal Rumble 2026, The Phenomenal One went up against Gunther in a singles match. The stipulation set was that if The Ring General defeated him, it would be the end of Styles’ WWE career.

Now, even though it was specific to WWE in the stipulation, it was noted that it doesn’t make sense for WWE not to retain AJ Styles after building him as one of the greatest of all time!

The Hardy Boyz commented on AJ Styles joining TNA

Ever since the retirement announcement, some speculations claimed that Styles was interested in working with TNA. However, this has not moved into action yet.

During an interview with 1Wrestling, Matt Hardy claimed that it seems Styles has only retired from WWE and not wrestling, given the stipulation was rather specific.

People are definitely anticipating where AJ is gonna land, because something does seem very intriguing about that.

His exact terminology was, ‘If you do beat me GUNTHER, it will be the end of my WWE career.’ That was very specific.

He has a genuine, very real authentic love for TNA, so I would love to have him back at TNA and he would really help us thrive as a company.

Jeff Hardy added the fantasy booking, which could finally come true!

I feel like (Styles vs Mike Santana) is a dream match that kinda has to happen now. I heard Mike Santana talk about it in an interview and it just felt like, ‘Whoa, that would be amazing.

If AJ Styles joins TNA, WWE might actually be hit by a viewership loss.
