AJ Lee Makes Huge WWE RAW Return; Announces First Singles Match In 11 Years

WWE was live from the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, as Monday Night RAW continued the build towards Elimination Chamber, which went underway last week on Friday Night SmackDown.

However, even before the opening segment of the show, the WWE Universe was treated to the return of a popular star as the wrestler was featured backstage.

Fan favorite star of the women’s division, AJ Lee, made her long-awaited return to the show as she made her first appearance of the new year. Lee was seen walking backstage with her husband, CM Punk, while Becky Lynch was seen to be visibly annoyed.

AJ Lee set for action at WWE Elimination Chamber

AJ Lee hadn’t been seen on WWE television since she competed at Survivor Series in the Women’s WarGames match, where she won her team the match by making Becky Lynch tap out.

Lynch made her way out to the ring, where she expressed her frustrations over AJ’s return, which led to Lee interrupting her segment. Becky asked Lee for a one-on-one match at Elimination Chamber.

AJ stated that she would love to face Becky at the Chamber in her hometown of Chicago. Since it’s her first singles match since her return to wrestling, AJ Lee goaded Becky into a match for her Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
