A popular AEW tag team has hinted at going their separate ways.

The Babes of Wrath duo of Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron was featured in an emotional backstage segment during the March 28 taping of Collision.

Earlier in the evening, they faced Divine Dominion for the Women’s World Tag Team Championship. It was their first time challenging for the title since losing it to Lena Kross and Megan Bayne at Revolution.

While that match looked like a squash owing to Nightingale’s shoulder injury, on Saturday, the Babes gave it their all before falling to Bayne and Kross.

Their backstage segment later showed them in an emotional state, as they reflected on their journey together since teaming up for the first time late last year.

Both women expressed thankfulness for their alliance, claiming they could not have picked a better tag partner. Harley also encouraged Willow to focus on her AEW TBS Championship by saying that she would always support her.

While the company has not officially confirmed their split, it seems like they may pursue individual dreams, even if it’s temporary.

Mina Shirakawa Finds Allies In Tony Storm’s AEW Absence

One of the biggest mysteries in AEW is that of the attack on Toni Storm.

A couple of weeks ago on Dynamite, the former Women’s Champion was taken out backstage by a mystery attacker, who left her in a pool of her own blood.

That same night, Mina Shirakawa replaced Storm in her No Holds Barred match against the Death Riders’ Marina Shafir, winning it in a brutal fight.

On Saturday, she teamed up with the Brawling Birds duo of Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor to defeat Nixi XS, Aminah Belmont, and Haven Harris.

After the match, the Birds claimed that they had nothing to do with the attack on Storm, while also calling out Thekla for using brass knuckles on Shirakawa during their match on Dynamite.

A verbal confrontation ensued between the newly formed trio and the Triangle of Madness, with Shirakawa challenging the latter for a Trios match.
