Two AEW stars are set to be married in a unique ceremony on Friday, October 13th.

Julia Hart began working with All Elite Wrestling back in 2021, first aligning herself with the Varsity Blonds. After months of teasing, she turned on Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. at Double or Nothing in 2022, taking on a villainous role as she joined the House of Black.

During her time with the company, Hart met Nightmare Factory’s Lee Johnson, and the two announced their engagement in 2022. In September, Hart took to social media to reveal that the wedding would be taking place shortly, and in a new interview with Ella Jay of SEScoops, she opened up about the couple’s plans for a spooky ceremony on Friday the 13th.

“Well, our colors are black and white and burgundy, so they are more of a darker color. I do have a lot of black lanterns that’ll be featured around the wedding. Then me and Lee [Johnson] also did like a little movie trailer for our wedding. He was in a Jason mask, so it was super corny, super cute, super fun, and spooky. We had bloody hands, but yeah, I think just more of accents of spooky things and I think everyone’s wearing black. The bridesmaids and the grooms will be wearing black, but I’m going to be wearing white. I will say that I am wearing white just for the one day, the one time.”

Hart and Johnson are set to take time away from AEW for their wedding and honeymoon.

AEW’s Julia Hart Takes Inspiration From Pop Culture Icons

Earlier in the interview, Hart spoke on drawing inspiration for her House of Black character from multiple characters in the world of pop culture.

“I do have about like there’s four different characters I try to pull from,” Hart said. “I would say Wednesday [Addams], of course, and then Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but from the Netflix series, how she’s kind of sassy. Then Stevie Nicks, of course, and then actually, Uma Thurman in Kill Bill. I love her aura and how confident she is and how badass she is. So I’d say probably pull from all four of those characters in a different way. Stevie, definitely from her outfits. American Horror Story is my all-time favorite show, so season three definitely is a big inspiration as well.”
