AEW Star Seemingly Suffers Knee Injury During Collision Taping
An AEW star reportedly suffered an injury during the latest Collision taping.
The Jacksonville promotion taped Collision Slam Dunk in Fresno, California, on Wednesday at the Save Mart Center.
Cedric Alexander had teamed up with his Don Callis Family stablemates Konosuke Takeshita and El Clon to take on Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey, and Mistico, challenging for the World Trios Championship.
Some fans in attendance took to X to report the incident after Alexander was helped to the back mid-match, highlighting its severity.
Nevertheless, the bout continued with the babyfaces trio of Knight, Bailey, and Mistico retaining their titles.
While fans await an update hours after the injury, AEW has yet to release an official statement, leaving them speculating about his current status.
‘The Walking Weapon’ is scheduled for multiple appearances in his home country of Canada on March 27 & 28 at Ring of Honor and a Maple Leaf Pro Global Wars event in Windsor, Ontario.
The company would be forced to shelve those appearances if Josh Alexander’s injury turns out to be serious.
Will Ospreay Returns On AEW Dynamite
Will Ospreay, who had been out of action since August 2025, returned to AEW Dynamite on March 18.
The Aerial Assassin was advertised to face Blake Christian in the singles match, as both superstars kicked off the show.
Ospreay found himself on the defensive for a good portion of the match, with Christian working on his recently repaired neck. The 32-year-old had also applied kinesio tape on his back, which did not help much.
The British wrestler finished the match with a victory after hitting his Hidden Blade finisher.
After the match, he called out Jon Moxley, which led to a brawl. While attempting a Storm Breaker on Moxley, Pac took out Ospreay. However, after recovering, Ospreay attacked Pac in the entranceway.
