Brody King believes the Continental Classic is leading the way in how wrestling should be delivered in All Elite Wrestling.

Following his win over Claudio Castagnoli on the December 2nd episode of Collision, Brody King is leading the Blue League of AEW’s Continental Classic with six points.

The House of Black star picked up his first three points on November 25th with a victory over Eddie Kingston, whose NJPW STRONG Openweight and ROH Championships will be awarded to the winner of the tournament along with a Continental Title to form a new Triple Crown Championship.

Commenting after his latest win in a digital exclusive, King claimed that the group of wrestlers taking part in the Continental Classic are setting a whole new standard for professional wrestling.

“2-0. Eddie Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli, and I’m 2-0.

“You know, the thing I love about this tournament is that we are the group that sets the standard for this tournament for years to come. The first class for the Continental Classic, to set the standard for how professional wrestling should be delivered in AEW from here on out.”

Brody King Sends Warning To AEW Continental Classic Opponents

King believes he was underestimated going into the tournament, and warned the rest of his opponents not to make that mistake again.

“Coming into this tournament, they said I wasn’t a single competitor, that I didn’t have the edge up because I’m used to being in trios and tag teams, and now I am 2-0 against two of the toughest people in this company.

“Don’t underestimate me. Don’t underestimate anybody in this tournament. Everybody is a threat. Be. Harder.”
