An AEW regular will miss Dynamite on October 18th.

Sammy Guevara hasn’t wrestled since teaming with Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita to defeat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi at WrestleDream on October 1st. Although his team picked up the win, the victory came at a price for Guevara who suffered a concussion during the bout.

The injury has been severe enough to keep the Spanish God out of action and fans will have to wait a little longer to see him return.

Posting on social media, Guevara confirmed he’ll miss Dynamite in his hometown of Houston. The star said that while he’s feeling better every day, he’s still not been cleared to wrestle.

Naturally, Guevara also had a little message for Chris Jericho.

“Good news, bad news. Bad news I’m not cleared yet,” Guevara wrote. “Good news everyday I’m feeling better. Sorry Houston I really wanted to put on a show for y’all. Hopefully next time. Also F*ck Chris Jericho.”
