AEW star Lance Archer has lifted the lid on his current contract status with the company.

The 6 foot 8 inch tall winner of the 2020 Men’s Casino Battle Royale is set to make his first appearance on AEW pay per view since defeat to Miro at AEW Double Or Nothing 2021, almost three years ago.

Archer was originally set to compete in ‘Meat Madness’ at AEW Revolution on 3rd March, however the original bout was surprisingly scrapped by Tony Khan on 28th March in favour of an ‘All-Star 8 Man Scramble’ match also set to feature Chris Jericho, Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs, Dante Martin, Magnus, Hook and Brian Cage. The winner of the match will win a future opportunity at the AEW World Championship.

During an appearance on ‘WrestlePurists’, the star hinted that his AEW deal could be set to expire in the near future, although he was quick to highlight he was keen to stay with the company”

“I mean, there could be some renegotiations pretty soon (for my AEW deal) but, everything’s good right now.”

AEW Star Lance Archer Requested Bout With Sting

Whilst the ‘All-Star 8 Man Scramble’ bout at AEW Revolution is one highly anticipated by fans, the undoubted highlight of AEW Revolution is the retirement match of Sting.

The legendary WWE Hall Of Famer takes to the ring for the final time to defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship held with Darby Allin against the villainous Young Bucks in what promises to be an emotional evening at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Lance Archer recently shared his pleasure at having battled ‘The Stinger’ in a six-man tag team match in AEW whilst also revealing that he had pitched for the pair to have a singles bout during their TNA tenure.
