AEW Star Fires Back After Dynamite Criticism

AEW

One AEW star had an answer for their critics following Dynamite in Albany, New York.

Dynamite was a big night of action for AEW in Albany, New York as the Lucha Brothers picked up a big win in the main event in a three way tag team match against Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli of the Blackpool Combat Club and Best Friends. The melee that took place after the bout led to Jon Moxley being announced for an AEW originals three way match on Dynamite’s 200th episode.

Also on the show, Swerve Strickland defeated Darby Allin but things between the men might be far from over after Allin’s friend AR Fox turned on him to join Strickland’s Mogul Embassy. That came after Fox was unsuccessful in the first bout of the night where he challenged Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship.

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker DMD was in action on the show as well as she defeated Taya Valkyrie by submission. However, some online paid more attention to an apparent botch during the match when Valkyrie hoisted Baker up for an apparent attempt at the Road to Valhalla before simply dropping Baker relatively gently to the mat.

After the show, Valkyrie took to social media to have her say and answer the trolls mocking the spot:

“All the trolls on my timeline right now grow up and goodnight”

When is the next AEW PPV?

AEW will head across the pond to London, England on the 27th of August for All In which takes place inside Wembley Stadium. Over 70,000 tickets for the event have already been sold despite no matches being announced.

One man in the company recently revealed that the biggest show in company history is “definitely tracking to sell out.”
