AEW Scraps Another Show

AEW

A new report has indicated that AEW has scrapped one of its long-running weekly shows amid big changes that will see all of the company’s content air on Warner Brothers Discovery’s networks.

The company’s YouTube show Elevation recently came to an end with the company not announcing its demise but rather a description from FITE TV – where the show also aired – indicating that it was ending:

“The Special and final episode of Elevation – it’s Best of Elevation airing on FITE! The episode is throwing it back to some of the best matches that have graced our Monday nights over the years!”

Now the company’s YouTube output has taken another hit with Andrew Zarian reporting that AEW Dark is also drawing to a close in a deal that will see all of the company’s output air on Warner Brothers Discovery – although it is also noted that this does not include Ring Of Honor content:

“AEW Dark and Dark Elevation have ended for the time being. This in part has to do with AEW signing a new deal for AEW Collision to air on Saturdays. Part of the new deal is that AEW Wrestling content will exclusively air on WBD. As of today, this doesn’t include ROH.”

Collision is believed to be beginning in June and will be the show which features CM Punk as he returns to the company after the infamous episode at All Out in September 2022.

The report does not mention if this will affect the future of the YouTube show Hey! (EW) hosted by RJ City who recently made his on-screen television debut for the company where he was viciously taken out by Jon Moxley.
