AEW Reveals Matches For Incredibly Rare Show
AEW has revealed the card for one show that the company doesn’t regularly hold.
AEW is heading back to Australia for a huge Grand Slam show as Tony Khan’s company makes its Sydney debut. There will be an antipodean flavour to that show as Toni Storm will be in action alongside Orange Cassidy as they face Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta of the Death Riders. The loser of the fall in that bout will have their head shaved bald.
Kyle Fletcher recaptured the TNT Championship on Dynamite from Tommaso Ciampa, and now Fletcher will put that gold on the line in his hometown in a ladder match against his old rival, Mark Briscoe.
The AEW Men’s World Championship will be on the line as MJF defends his Triple B against Brody King, while Hangman Adam Page and Andrade El Idolo will battle it out to become the next challenger for that title.
AEW Holding Rare House Show
The AEW Continental Championship will be up for grabs as Jon Moxley defends against Konosuke Takeshita, and Babes of Wrath will defend their AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship against MegaBad – Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford.
But Australia is a long way to go for one show, and that’s why AEW is running a very rare house show in Brisbane as well. The first matches for that show have been revealed and will see The Brawling Birds team of Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter make its debut. Orange Cassidy and Toni Storm will team again to face Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir. By the time that match takes place, one of Shafir, Storm, or Cassidy could be completely bald.
