There is some insight into what All Elite Wrestling is planning to do for an upcoming Tuesday night edition of AEW Dynamite.

This past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, the company was pushing Sunday’s WrestleDream PPV heavily and also next week’s four-year anniversary of Dynamite episode on October 4th.

Coming up after that four-year anniversary of Dynamite will be a rare Tuesday night edition of Dynamite on October 10th.

As noted by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dynamite will be on a Tuesday that week because of Major League Baseball Playoff games taking place on TBS on that Wednesday night.

“The 10/10 show which is on a Tuesday because TBS has baseball playoffs on 10/11 (the only preemption of Dynamite scheduled right now) is going to be loaded up going head-to-head with NXT. It’s being called Title Tuesday and will include Saraya vs. Hikaru Shida for the AEW women’s title and likely several other title matches.”

“The last time they went head-to-head due to Dynamite being moved, it won handily, but NXT is stronger and it is NXT in its familiar time slot which is a huge edge.”

On Tuesday, October 18, 2022 when Dynamite and NXT went head-to-head, AEW drew an audience of 752,000 and a 0.26 rating among 18-49 year olds. Meanwhile, NXT had 676,000 viewers and a 0.18 in the demo.
