Adam Copeland & Christian Cage To Break Silence On AEW Reunion

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will finally speak after their unlikely reunion finally happened in AEW.

When Adam Copeland made his shock AEW debut, he soon sought out his old partner for a reunion in the twilight of their respective careers. Christian Cage famously told Cope, “Go f*ck yourself,” as an emphatic no to that proposal. A war then broke out between the men, with the TNT Title at the heart of it.

But time is a great healer, as are common enemies. At Dynasty, FTR viciously turned on Adam Copeland, putting him on the shelf for several months. The WWE Hall of Famer made his return to AEW at All In Texas, where he got a measure of revenge on FTR, who were in the ring watching on as The Patriarchy turned on Christian Cage.

Copeland told Cage, “Go find yourself,” but in a recent appearance on AEW TV, Cage was unrepentant about his past actions. Despite that, Cage and Copeland are reunited.

Dynamite saw Copeland take on FTR’s manager Stokely Hathaway in a one-on-one match. Copeland won the match by disqualification as FTR got involved. FTR were on the verge of dropping Adam Copeland with the stuffed piledriver when Christian Cage appeared with Spike to send FTR running.

Nick Wayne then ran in with a steel chair, but Cage nailed it with Spike to send Wayne heading for the hills as well. Copeland and Cage then shared a long embrace to signal that they were back on the same page.

Adam Copeland & Christian Cage Heading To Glasgow

Christian Cage and Adam Copeland will reunite for their first tag team match in 14 years at Forbidden Door. The match will be their first on PPV in 24 years, with their last one coming before one of their opponents was born.

Before that takes place, however, AEW has announced that Copeland and Cage will appear together live on Dynamite in Glasgow, Scotland, where Tony Schiavone will interview the duo.
