Adam Copeland Set For AEW PPV Debut Match At Full Gear
The first Adam Copeland AEW PPV match is set following an explosive segment on Dynamite.
Ever since Adam Copeland debuted in AEW at WrestleDream, he has made it clear that he was All Elite so that he could team up with his best friend Christian Cage (the TNT Champion) rather than fight him. However, as it turns out, Copeland’s first AEW pay-per-view match will be against Christian Cage in a tag team match.
On AEW Dynamite from Louisville on November 1st, Adam Copeland was featured in an in-ring interview with Tony Schiavone. During the interview, Copeland talked about his friendship with Sting as well as his respect for Darby Allin.
The promo was interrupted by TNT Champion Christian Cage, Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne. Cage threatened to retire Sting while bragging about how he hurt Allin and Cage threatened to snap Adam’s neck.
Things got physical when Christian’s team triple-teamed Copeland looking for a Conchairto. However, Copeland had some backup when Sting and Darby Allin made the save. This allowed Copeland to hit his best friend Christian with a Spear.
Copeland told Cage: “You want to snap my neck?! I’m going to beat your ass! It is on, you stupid little son of a b**tch! Sting, you were right. Sting and Darby, you want a partner at Full Gear? I’m your man!”
The six-man tag is on for AEW Full Gear with Copeland teaming up with Sting & Darby Allin against TNT Champion Christian Cage, Luchasaurus & Nick Wayne.
AEW Full Gear to feature huge matches including Adam Copeland in tag team action
The lineup for AEW Full Gear on November 18th in Los Angeles will feature some really big matches. This is what is advertised so far:

* ROH Tag Team Championships: Maxwell Jacob Friedman (c) vs. The Gunns – Colten & Austin Gunn – Pre-Show
There should be more Full Gear matches announced in the next few weeks.
