Absent AEW Star Returns On Rampage (SPOILER)
One AEW star that has been missing from television since December has made their return on Rampage, but don’t read on if you don’t want spoilers.
Keith Lee last competed as part of the AEW roster at Full Gear in November 2022 where he and Swerve Strickland failed to regain the AEW Tag Team Championship from The Acclaimed. Despite the tension between him and his partner Lee and Strickland teamed again at ROH Final Battle in December with Lee defeating Shane Taylor Promotions despite his partner walking out on him. Since then Lee has been missing from television but he’s now back.
Following Dynamite in Laredo, Texas, AEW filmed Rampage that saw Dustin Rhodes take on Swerve Strickland. Strickland’s new associate Parker Boudreaux caused the disqualification with Keith Lee making his surprise return to chase off Strickland’s Mogul Affiliates.
Mogul Affiliates – consisting of Strickland, Boudreaux, and Trench – attacked Keith Lee on Dynamite back in December 2022 with Strickland stomping through a cinder block on Lee’s chest.
Keith Lee first joined AEW in February 2022 following his release from WWE four months previously. The highlight of his run in the company so far has been his tag team title reign with Strickland but with that team now firmly split up, it remains to be seen what is in the future for the limitless one.
