A huge WWE star is currently out of action with a major injury.

Seth Rollins was rumored to square off with Roman Reigns in the main event of next year’s WrestleMania. However, The Visionary suffered a legitimate shoulder injury during his match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, which forced him to vacate the World Heavyweight Title.

In a recent interview with Jay Mohr, Rollins gave an update on his injury, revealing that he expects to make his comeback in three to four months.

I have a few more months left with my shoulder. I had my rotator cuff surgery eight weeks ago, almost nine from when we’re talking right now. So, I’ve got another three months, four months at least. [H/T: The TakeDown on SI]

Seth Rollins May Not Be At WWE WrestleMania

According to Seth Rollins’ timeline, his return might be around the time for WrestleMania 42, which is set to take place in Las Vegas for the second consecutive year.

However, the 17-time champion’s participation in the Show of Shows remains up in the air, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Rollins this week estimated being out three to four more months. WrestleMania is three-and-a-half months away. The last time I asked about Mania and Rollins it was that the option was still open but it was far from a sure thing. Rollins vs. Reigns, at the time for the title, was the planned main event of one of the nights, but obviously that as a title match is out the window and it’s looking like Rhodes vs. Reigns as the big match of the show.
