John Cena Discusses “Unpredictable” Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon John Cena

John Cena returned to WWE recently at Money In The Bank, now the sixteen-time champion of the world has discussed how impressed he is with “unpredictable” Vince McMahon.

Cena made his WWE comeback in July, staring down WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns immediately after Reigns had successfully defended his title against WWE Hall Of Famer Edge. While Cena may not have possession of the Money In The Bank briefcase, he took a page out of old rival Edge on SmackDown when he turned ultimate opportunist. What was meant to be a contract signing for a match between Roman Reigns and Finn Balor took a turn when down-on-his-luck Baron Corbin interrupted proceedings and attacked the Irishman.

Corbin, who still had sauce on his shirt from the week before, then looked to sign the contract himself before Cena emerged, fighting the former King off and signing his own name on the dotted line. Roman Reigns must now defend his WWE Universal Championship against John Cena at SummerSlam.

Appearing on ESPN’s First Take Cena was asked by former WWE personality Charly Caruso who had impressed him the most since making his return to WWE, Cena responded:

“I always say the same thing; Vince McMahon. He’s so unpredictable. He keeps everybody in suspense. There’s been a lot of crazy decisions lately, I don’t know what the future of WWE will hold, but it’s certainly exciting times. I’m always impressed, especially returning, by his work ethic, his commitment, by his passion. I have to say Vince.”

Cena did not elaborate on the “crazy decisions” but the company has released a number of talents in recent months, with Bray Wyatt perhaps being the most surprising departure, being released from his WWE contract on the 31st of July.

John Cena donned his Peacemaker garb at the premiere of his new movie The Suicide Squad when he caught up with his former foe and current AEW star and TNT Champion, Miro.
