Full Lineup for WWE NXT Takeover New York on April 6 – Five Championship Matches

The full lineup is set for the NXT Takeover: New York event that will take place on Friday, April 6th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. We already knew the matches based on the last NXT tapings a few weeks ago, but on last night’s NXT broadcast, we saw the setup for that fifth and final match.

The finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic aired on NXT this week with the team of Aleister Black and Ricochet defeating the Forgotten Sons. With the win, Black and Ricochet earned a NXT Tag Team Championship match against the War Raiders duo of Rowe and Hanson.

The outcome of that Tag Team Title match seems obvious because Black and Ricochet are on the main roster now, so it’s likely going to be their NXT farewell match. In other words, expect a win for the War Raiders there.

The rest of the card is tough to predict. In terms of match quality, this may be the best NXT Takeover ever and that’s saying a lot considering how well their shows have been.

NXT North American Championship: Velveteen Dream (c) vs. Matt Riddle

NXT Tag Team Championships: War Raiders (c) vs. Ricochet and Aleister Black

NXT Women’s Championship: Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane vs. Io Shirai vs. Bianca Belair

NXT UK Championship: Pete Dunne (c) vs. Walter

NXT TakeOver: New York will stream live on Friday, April 5, at 7pm ET/4pm PT, exclusively on WWE Network.
