WWE’s Cody Rhodes Reveals Generous Gift To Viral Promotion
Cody Rhodes is known for his extraordinary generosity when it comes to wrestling fans and now the WWE Champion has extended that to a viral wrestling promotion.
Cody Rhodes finished his story at WrestleMania 40 when he won the Undisputed WWE Title from Roman Reigns. While Rhodes is now adding new volumes to his career as champion he wants to make sure that the future stars of the business can tell their own stories in the best way possible, wherever they are in the world.
Soft Ground Wrestling in Uganda has made waves online recently with videos of their action going viral. As the name suggests, the action in SGW takes place outdoors and on the ground with two former WWE stars even getting on the action out there as Mace and Mansoor paid a visit. But now Cody Rhodes wants to help the promotion move into the squared circle.
Cody Rhodes Buys Wrestling Ring For Ugandan Outfit
SGW took to social media to share a video from Cody Rhodes where the WWE Champion revealed that he has arranged for a ring to be built for the company and he’s footing the whole bill:
Hello, this is The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and I just wanted to send a quick message to my friends at SGW, Soft Ground Wrestling Uganda. We’ve all been watching what you guys have been doing lately, I’ve talked to a few friends about how the experience is down there, it’s incredibly impressive and it’s wonderful to see your love at SGW for pro wrestling and sports entertainment.
[…] It’s not lost on me that with the world as divided as it may be, social issues, climate issues, political issues, whatever it may be, one thing that we can universally bond on is our love for pro wrestling.
With that said you guys need a proper wrestling ring. You need one for your stories and you need one to be able to do what you do, you gotta be welcomed into the wrestling business the right way, you need a proper ring. We have found someone in Uganda that can make it for you, it’s not coming over on a boat, it’s not gonna get broken, we’re gonna get it done and when it gets done send the bill to me.
It is on me, my gift to you, the wrestling business has literally given me everything in my life that I could possibly dream of and I would just like to give something back to you guys and welcome you officially into this big wide world of pro wrestling.
