WWE News: Mick Foley’s “20 Years of Hell” Special Will Air on WWE Network Sept. 16

There’s a new WWE Network special about Mick Foley’s time inside Hell in a Cell called “20 Years of Hell.” It’s coming to WWE Network next Sunday night, September 16, following the WWE Hell in a Cell PPV. That means it should air around 11pmET and will be available on demand so you can watch it at your own convenience.

The special was filmed a few months ago and it’s based on Foley’s memorable Hell in a Cell loss to The Undertaker at King of the Ring in June 1998. Even though Foley lost, what people remember most were the two crazy bumps Foley took when he was sent off the cell through the Spanish announce table and also when Foley took a Chokeslam through the top of the cell leading to another nasty landing for the WWE Hall of Famer. Foley has been touring the United States, Australia and Canada with his “20 Years of Hell” too.

Foley is also advertised for Raw this coming Monday because it’s a way to promote the special on WWE Network while also hyping up the Hell in a Cell matches at Sunday’s PPV. It wouldn’t be the first time that WWE used Foley to get people excited about Hell in a Cell matches because they used him to help build Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose in 2014 and when he was Raw GM in 2016 as well.

Check out a recent interview Mick did with friend of the site, Blair Farthing, talking about his 20 Years of Hell tour and the Hell in a Cell match. Just don’t steal his catchphrases.
