WWE News: July 13 Episode of Raw Draws Lowest TV Viewership In History with 1.56 Million Viewers

The television viewership numbers are in for WWE Monday Night Raw’s July 13 episode and they are not good. In fact, they are the lowest numbers in the history of Raw. These numbers are the Nielsen television ratings based on American television and they are for live viewing. There are other ratings involved for shows that are recorded at home.

Here’s the information courtesy of Showbuzzdaily regarding Monday’s cable television viewership numbers:

Average: 1.561 million. Last week was 1.687 million.

Hour 1 – 8pm: 1.580 million
Hour 2 – 9 pm: 1.599 million
Hour 3 – 10 pm: 1.504 million

The coveted 18-49 age group demos saw Raw have ratings of 0.49 in the first hour, 0.48 in hour two and 0.48 in the third hour.

This was the last Raw before Sunday’s “The Horror Show at Extreme Rules” pay-per-view.

TJR Thoughts: It’s a bad sign obviously. A lot of fans aren’t watching WWE as much as they used to in part because there are no fans at the shows and a lack of excitement. Is the show quality that bad? No. It’s just not that exciting for the average fan at home. Fans are watching news programs more than ever as well while the health crisis is going on.

There is some trouble coming in the future as well because professional sports in America are coming back in two weeks like Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League. Then in early September, the big one National Football League is back on Mondays. That means these numbers are likely going to go down even more unless WWE can figure something out.
