Big Pitch Made For Rhea Ripley Amid Uncertainty Around Her WWE Future

While Rhea Ripley is currently out of action, a big creative pitch has been made for her future in WWE.

Rhea Ripley’s last televised match took place at Clash in Italy, where she defeated Jade Cargill to successfully retain her WWE Women’s Championship. She also competed in a couple of non-televised live events before it was revealed that she has sustained a knee injury. Following the injury, Ripley will not be a part of SummerSlam 2026.

Nevertheless, Rhea Ripley remains the WWE Women’s Champion despite being out of action, and a new interim champion will be crowned through a ladder match at SummerSlam. Meanwhile, Tiffany Stratton has pitched a creative idea for Ripley amid her absence.

Current WWE Champion wants to work with Rhea Ripley

The current WWE Women’s United States Champion, Tiffany Stratton has already qualified for the Interim Women’s title ladder match at SummerSlam.

Speaking with Good Karma Wrestling, Tiffany vowed to become the interim WWE Women’s Champion and also said that she would love to work with Rhea Ripley:

I would love to work with Rhea Ripley. I think this interim Women’s Championship match is the perfect segue into it. So, I feel me being Tiffy time, Tiffany Stratton, and then winning that title and becoming ‘Tiffy Two Titles.’”

Tiffany Stratton also pitched the idea of Rhea Ripley facing her to try and win the Women’s title after she returns:

And then if Rhea wants a match to try and win back her Women’s Championship, try and win back, she can. I will give her that. And I think that would just be the perfect segue to a me and Ripley story.”

In the same interview, Stratton opened up on how she deals with criticism and negativity:

I’m a public figure, so I have to expect the hate and the criticism. Sometimes, I do take into, what people say and I do take that in and see if I can apply it anywhere. Just having good discernment when it comes to hate and love, if you believe all of the good stuff about yourself, you have to believe all the bad stuff. ”

I just think having good discernment and having a good sense of self has truly saved me because I know who I am. I know I’m a good person at the end of the day and I have good morals and I love my life. So, yeah, I don’t think it really affects me that much.” [h/t f4wonline.com]
