Updated WWE TLC Lineup for Dec. 20: Five Official Matches Including Reigns vs. Owens in a TLC Match

There are now five official matches for the WWE TLC pay-per-view on December 20 and one of them is a Tables, Ladders & Chairs match. The event will air on WWE Network and take place at Tropicana Field in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida since WWE is moving the ThunderDome there starting next week.

Kevin Owens confronted the Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the opening segment of Smackdown last night to show he wasn’t afraid of the “Tribal Chief” and he challenged Reigns to a WWE Universal Title match at TLC. Reigns accepted, so the match was on. The end of the night saw Reigns decimate Owens along with his tag team partner Otis and even Roman’s own cousin Jey Uso was also beaten up by Reigns.

We also learned that Sasha Banks will defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Carmella, who attacked Banks for several weeks until Banks got some revenge last week on Smackdown. Last night on Smackdown, they agreed to the match at TLC.

Two other matches were made official for TLC earlier on Friday. Those were Raw brand matches. We learned that “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt will face Randy Orton. Also, the Women’s Tag Team Titles will be on the line when Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defend their titles against Asuka and Lana, who have beaten the champions in non-title matches. Since Asuka is also the Raw Women’s Champion, we assume that title won’t be on the line.

At this point, only the Reigns vs. Owens match has a stipulation. It’s possible that they add stipulations to other matches since we know there will likely be a Tables Match, Ladder Match and Chairs Match on the show as well. Then again, WWE could change things up this year.

Here’s how the lineup looks so far.

WWE Universal Championship Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Kevin Owens

WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre (c) vs. AJ Styles

“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton

Smackdown Women’s Championship: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Carmella

Women’s Tag Team Championships: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Asuka and Lana

There are still four weeks until TLC takes place, so we can expect WWE to add a few more matches to the card.
