Logan Paul Reached Out To Newly-Released WWE Star

Logan Paul WWE US Champion

Logan Paul sent a message of support to a recently released WWE star.

On April 23rd, Cameron Grimes announced he’d been released by WWE in an emotional video posted online.

The star had been with the company since 2019, initially impressing in NXT before moving to SmackDown as part of the 2023 Draft. Although Grimes proved popular with fans, he failed to gain any real momentum on the blue brand.

Grimes’ exit came shortly after Jinder Mahal, Veer, Sanga, Xi Li, Von Wagner, and Xyon Quinn had also been released.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Grimes revealed that Logan Paul reached out to him after he was let go.

“This is gonna sound weird because the level of star he is, but Logan Paul actually reached out to me, and I thought that was pretty cool because he’s a megastar really, even beyond wrestling. He reached out to me and said some stuff to me, so that helps me feel good.”

During the same interview, Cameron Grimes said a WWE Executive told him he would always have a job just days before he was fired.

Logan Paul Responds To Ronda Rousey

During a recent interview, Ronda Rousey said she could have benefited from the help Logan Paul has been given, commenting that it would have improved her matches. While some fans have suggested this was a shot at Paul, the man himself isn’t one of them.

In response, Logan Paul said he saw the comments as Rousey’s frustration with WWE, rather than criticism of himself.
