Logan Paul Answers Ronda Rousey’s WWE Criticism

Logan Paul doesn’t think Ronda Rousey was trying to call him out in a recent interview.

Very few celebrities — if any, have impressed in the ring to the level of Logan Paul. The YouTube star has earned plaudits far and wide for his performances, especially given his lack of experience.

However, Paul is far from a full-time WWE star, and his matches are laid out well in advance, giving him time to rehearse. Some have argued this gives him some sense of an advantage over others as he can spend weeks on end preparing for a single match.

During a recent interview, Ronda Rousey said she could have benefited from the help Logan Paul has been given, commenting that it would have improved her matches. While some fans have suggested this was a shot at Paul, the man himself isn’t one of them.

Speaking on the BS with Jake Paul podcast, Logan praised Rousey and said her comments weren’t a personal attack. Instead, they’re a reflection of her unhappiness with WWE as a whole.

“I want to approach this from a real mature standpoint because I like Ronda Rousey. What she’s done in MMA is incredible. We watched her growing up, snapping arms, I have a lot of respect for Ronda Rousey.

Every time I’ve met her it’s been great, amicable, so when she’s saying that, I don’t think it’s like a personal attack on me by any means. I don’t feel she’s coming after me.

I feel she’s maybe using me as an example to express her dissatisfaction with maybe how she was treated in the WWE but I can’t speak on that because I don’t know how she was treated.

I don’t think she’s a hater, I think she might be unhappy with how her run in WWE went, but I don’t really know anything about that. All I know is about how I work and the facilities and time that I’m given to make my matches as best as possible.

I think the WWE recognises that when I put on a good match, which happens every single time I perform, the outcome and the reaction of the fans is immense.

I think I’ve proven my value in and out of the ring, on the mic, wrestling, the impressions that I deliver the company are second to none.”

Kenny Omega Gives Thoughts On Logan Paul

During a recent Twitch stream, Kenny Omega appeared to push back at the idea that Logan Paul is a fantastic wrestler. The AEW star also pointed to the amount of time Paul is given to prepare, commenting that he’d be unable to deliver a “banger” in Japan or the G1 Climax.

Omega has been out of action since being diagnosed with diverticulitis in December.
