Ronda Rousey Wishes She Was Given Same Opportunities As Big-Name Star

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey has revealed her frustration at the recent WWE success of Logan Paul.

Having departed WWE in August 2023, ‘The baddest woman on the planet’ has been outspoken about her time with the company and has once again slammed the organisation for not affording her the opportunities she believes have been given to current WWE United States Champion, Logan Paul.

The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion had high praise for the performances of the influencer during a recent appearance on ‘‘Steve-O’s Wild Ride!‘, but was critical of WWE for a lack of rehearsal time ahead of big matches, noting the success of her debut WrestleMania bout as an example of what can be achieved if time is allowed:

“He’s great on the mic. He does a great job on the mic. I wish I was allowed the time to rehearse that he gets. It’s not evenly spread. He’s like their next big star. They are rolling out the red carpet.

It goes to show that if you give people the time to rehearse and the resources, you can do amazing things. It’s frustrating that everybody doesn’t get that treatment.

My first match with them was incredible because we had six weeks to rehearse, all the best minds in the business coming and putting in their two cents and it was an instant classic. Then, they never did it again.

I was like, ‘Why isn’t this the model?’ They’re doing that with Logan Paul and he’s having these fantastic performances. Look what you guys can do when you actually put organization and effort into things. It blows my mind that this billion-dollar company is succeeding in spite itself in so many ways.”

Ronda Rousey Clashed With Triple H Ahead Of WWE Exit

Ronda Rousey did not hold back on her feelings about WWE creative in the recently released biography ‘Our Fight‘.

In the book, Rousey recounted a heated confrontation with Triple H after plans for a WrestleMania 39 bout with ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch fell through.
