Updated WWE Elimination Chamber Lineup, Sasha Banks Cleared to Compete

The lineup for Sunday’s WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view was tweaked a bit this week after Monday’s Raw and Tuesday’s Smackdown episodes.

For the Women’s Tag Team Title match inside the Elimination Chamber, the team of Bayley and Sasha Banks lost a triple threat tag team match on Raw, so they are going to be one of the first two teams to start the match. The team of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville also lost a triple threat match, so they will be the other team to start that match. The other four teams will start the match in pods that will open at regular intervals.

It was also announced today, by WWE, that Sasha Banks has been cleared to return to action. She was out for a few weeks and then the Wrestling Observer reported that Banks was fully cleared to return on Tuesday after being partially cleared before that. Banks took a few bumps this week and last week, but it was not a full performance from Banks. She should be good to go on Sunday.

In another change to the Elimination Chamber card, Kofi Kingston was the chosen replacement for Mustafa Ali, who is missing the show due to injury. Kingston had a great showing on Smackdown with three pinfall wins in a 60-minute performance in a Gauntlet match where he lost to AJ Styles. Randy Orton surprised Styles with a RKO out of nowhere to win to earn the coveted 6th spot in the Elimination Chamber match.

WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton (6th man to enter)

No Disqualification Match Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin – It was made No DQ this evening.

Smackdown Tag Team Championships: The Miz and Shane McMahon (c) vs. The Usos

Women’s Tag Team Titles Elimination Chamber Match: Nia Jax and Tamina vs. Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley (1st team) vs. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville (2nd team) vs. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay vs. Carmella and Naomi

Raw Women’s Championship: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Ruby Riott

Intercontinental Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) and Lio Rush vs. Finn Balor

Cruiserweight Championship: Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Akira Tozawa

I thought Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio would be added, but there’s nothing official yet. There could be some changes between now and Sunday.
