Spoilers for WWE Monday Night Raw on Nov. 11 – Taped in Manchester, England

TJR Wrestling

This coming Monday’s edition of Raw was taped in Manchester, England after Smackdown finished. They did it this way because it’s easier logistically. Even though the Raw crew is in Europe like Smackdown is, WWE must have felt like this was the best way. It’s rare in 2019 for there to be a taped Raw days in advance, but it happens sometimes.

The spoilers come to us from @GMS_WWE on Twitter and also WrestlingInc.

The announcers for Raw were Vic Joseph and Jerry Lawler. There was no Dio Maddin, who was put through an announce table by Brock Lesnar last week.

* Asuka and Kairi Sane defeated Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair to retain the Women’s Tag Team Titles

There were some outside distractions because NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler was watching at ringside. That led to Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley going to ringside to go after Baszler. While that was happening, Lynch was distracted and Asuka pinned her with the dreaded ROLLUP OF DEATH~! to get the win.

(Note: Last week on Raw, it was Natalya teaming with Charlotte to beat Asuka in a non-title tag team match. This week, Becky Lynch tagged with Charlotte to get the title shot. It looks peculiar. Natalya was not at the show. According to her Instagram, she is visiting family in California.)

* Drew McIntyre defeated Sin Cara

A clean win for the heel McIntyre. There aren’t a lot of details about it. It sounds like a simple victory for the bigger name.

* The Singh Brothers vs. R-Truth ended in a No Contest

This match was for Samir Singh’s 24/7 Title, R-Truth competed against both brothers and it ended when the Singhs ran away from Truth. No match result.

Seth Rollins got what was called a “mixed reaction” and then it was reported that the boos took over. Rollins talked about Triple H and the NXT wrestlers. Rollins called out the best that the UK has to offer. That led to the Imperium group of WWE UK Champion Walter, Fabian Aichner, Alexander Wolfe and Marcel Barthel. Walter accepted Seth’s challenge and the crowd loved it.

(Will WWE edit out the boos for Rollins when Raw airs on Monday? They’ve certainly done it before for other babyface wrestlers that get booed.)

* Seth Rollins defeated Walter by disqualification

This was not for Walter’s WWE UK Title. The match ended in a DQ when Imperium attacked Rollins. That led to Kevin Owens and The Street Profits making the save. That led to the obvious tag team match.

* Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and The Street Profits defeated Imperium in an 8-man tag team match

The finish saw Rollins pin Aichner to give the win to the babyface team even though Rollins received boos at the show.

There was a backstage segment with The OC trio of AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson talking trash to Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo. They wanted a tag team match, so Randy Orton showed up to tell Ricochet and Carrillo he would join them.

* Andrade defeated Cedric Alexander

Another match with the bigger name heel getting the win over the face.

Lana entered the ring to announce that she was pregnant, which led to boos from the crowd and also “Rusev Day” chants, which is pretty funny. Lana claimed she was 9 weeks pregnant (just over two months) and she claimed she didn’t first have sex with Bobby Lashley until 7 weeks ago, so that’s why it is Rusev’s baby. Rusev admitted he was a sex addict. Lashley showed up, he beat up Rusev again and carried Lana to the back.

(There were comments from various reports that this was a bad segment. A lot of people hate the angle, so that’s understandable. Last week in my Raw Deal review I noted that Lana had a bit of a bump, so now we get a pregnancy angle.)

Saturday Update: PWinsider is saying Lana is not pregnant in the storyline and it was just a line by her to lure Rusev out, which led to Lashley beating him up.

* Erick Rowan defeated a local enhancement wrestler

It was noted in a report that Rowan was carrying some object under a towel, but that was not shown. It is some mystery to be revealed later.

* The Viking Raiders defeated Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews

This was a non-title match. Ivar got the win for his team with the Viking Experience powerslam on Andrews.

* Randy Orton, Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo defeated The OC (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) in the main event

It was Carrillo that got the win for his team. There was apparently tension between Ricochet and Orton during the match. Ricochet is a face, Orton has been a heel of late, but this could be a face turn unless is just fooling everyone including Ricochet.

That was the end of Raw.

After Raw was over, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt showed up and beat up The OC. That was the end of the night.
