One of the hottest topics in WWE today is the April 24 releases.

Continuing with its post-WrestleMania tradition, the Stamford promotion released 20+ stars on Friday, some of which came as a complete shock to wrestling fans.

One of the most popular names was that of Kairi Sane, who was a regular on TV and had been involved in a long-standing storyline involving Asuka and IYO SKY.

While the company provided no official statement on her release, media outlets have claimed the reasons as either the end of her contract or that she was feeling homesick.

Amid speculations, the 37-year-old Japanese wrestler wrote on Twitter that she never walked away from WWE.

Across the subsequent SmackDown and Raw episodes, a few wrestlers have touched upon the subject of the latest release, including Joe Hendry, who debuted on Raw this week.

Hendry’s segment featured a live performance, where he informed the fans that he had officially signed with Raw through a song.

While performing, the Scotsman also urged WWE to fire Logan Paul while also encouraging the Laredo, Texas, audience to sing along to the part about firing the YouTube star.

This prompted an angry reaction from the 30-year-old, who came out with his teammate, Austin Theory.

A brawl soon ensued between the two parties, as Hendry found himself outnumbered. The Street Profits came to his aid, fending off The Vision duo for a second consecutive week.

Logan Paul later took to Instagram to send a message to Joe and his failed campaign to get him fired.

Sharing a screengrab of Hendry’s performance in Stories, he wrote:

Logan Paul Wants WWE WrestleMania In Cleveland, Ohio

Logan Paul recently urged WWE to choose Cleveland, Ohio, as the host of a future WrestleMania.

While the state of Ohio has previously hosted major events like SummerSlam, it has experienced no such luck with The Show of Shows.

The Stamford promotion’s president, Nick Khan, recently spoke to the Senator of Ohio, Bernie Moreno, where he was asked about Cleveland hosting its first-ever WrestleMania as a new stadium was also being built there.

To this, the 47-year-old responded that Logan Paul often tells him to bring ‘Mania to his hometown.

We think for WWE and we think for our wrestlers. If it wasn’t enough that Logan Paul pressures me on bringing WrestleMania to Ohio on a weekly basis, now you feel the pressure from you senator, so we understand, in a positive way.

Paul also share a video of their conversation on his X account.

Meanwhile, the company’s next premium live event is Backlash, which will emanate from Tampa, Florida, on May 9.

Amid The Vision’s feud with The Street Profits duo of Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkings, it remains to be seen if Paul and Theory put their tag team titles on the line at the show.
